I felt like I was there with you...Wow what a story! I felt like I was there with you with how you described everything so well. How scary for things to take such a turn. I've heard that saying from everyone that it never goes how you expect it to go. Did you have an epidural with both of your kids? Just last month my friends had her second baby and she had me be in the delivery room to take pictures. After 12 hours of labor, she was STILL only at 4cm. She was given so much Petocin in hopes that it would help dilate her further but it did the opposite. Once she got an epidural, she went from 4cm-10cm in less than 30 minutes. It was a life changing experience to witness a new life being brought into the world.
